Malcolm Brett is the Director of Television for Wisconsin Public Television (WPT)—a partnership of the University of Wisconsin- Extension and the State of Wisconsin Educational Communications Board.
    
During the past two decades at WPT, Brett has served as a Production Manager for the national show New Tech Times, Corporate Development Manager and Director of Development. His extensive knowledge of television production includes strategic planning, budgeting, government relations, board development, government and community relations. He was named PBS Development Professional of the Year- 1998 for his expertise and contributions to the public television system.

Larry Dickerson has over 30 years of experience in radio and television production, programming and management. Past Director of Communications for the University of Wisconsin-Extension , now retired, also served as the Deputy Director of the Wisconsin Educational Communications Board for 10 years during which time he specialized in new and emerging telecommunications technologies and their uses in distance education. He has served as the project manager for the planning and development of a wide variety of educational telecommunications projects, including serving as chair of the project team that oversaw the development of a state-of-the-art distance education center on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. Since 1998 Ann Engelman has served Wisconsin Public Television (WPT) as consultant and manager for several projects, including portalwisconsin.org.  She is a programming advisor, facilitator of professional development seminars, and past project manager for a CPB Overlap Market grant. Stephen H. Hess, Ph.D., associate academic vice president for information technology at the University of Utah , has worked in information and educational technology services for more than 30 years. He has been director of the University Press, general manager of KULC-TV, assistant vice president for Student and University Relations, and executive director of Media Services.  Hess was the first executive director of the Utah Education Network.  He holds adjunct faculty appointments in the graduate School of Education and the Communication Department and oversees campus information technology.   He has served on many education and information technology committees and chaired the state legislative planning task force on education technology.

Bruce Jacobs is chief technologist with Twin Cities Public Television. His responsibilities include television engineering, DTV planning, and information technology.  He is a founding member of the Local Enhancement Collaborative and serves as editor of ETVCookbook.org, a nationally recognized resource for television professionals.  He is a past chair of the PBS Engineering Committee and served on the Digital Steering Committee to develop public television's digital conversion model.

As director of Broadcasting and Media Innovations, Byron Knight is responsible for Wisconsin Public Television (WPT), Wisconsin Public Radio and media innovations applied to broadcasting and education. He was director of WPT from 1990 to 2000, during which time he also served as project executive for New Program Services and Alliances for the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS), responsible for establishing and managing production partnerships.
   
From 1978-1990, he was the director of programming for WHA-TV and the Educational Communications Board, responsible for the consolidation of departmental activities between the ECB stations and WHA-TV.
   
He produced several award-winning programs with Peter Ustinov, and has served on numerous advisory boards, both state and national. In 2001, he received the Twenty-First Century Manager award from the Association of Public Television Stations for technology innovation and he is on the APTS board.

As Director of Wisconsin Public Radio for 21 years, Jack Mitchell led the country’s most extensive and successful state or university public radio system, a 20-station system organized as two networks, a prolific producer of national programming.
    
Mitchell was the first employee of National Public Radio where he was instrumental in developing All Things Considered. He made significant contributions in virtually every area of the organization's work. He was elected to an unprecedented four terms on the National Public Radio Board of Directors, including three years as chair.
   
His work has been honored by many, including the Corporation for Public Broadcasting's Edward R. Murrow Award, public radio's highest honor.

Don A. Thigpen, past president and general manager of WCEU-TV, has more than 30 years of experience in higher education and educational telecommunications.  He led development of Daytona Beach Community College’s (DBCC) educational telecommunications and television programs, and spearheaded creation and expansion of WCEU-TV.  He coordinated the station’s digital conversion and acquired grant funds for WCEU’s Center for Educational Telecommunications.  Thigpen served as dean of learning resources and associate vice president for educational telecommunications, and he led the launch of DBCC’s first college credit telecourse program.  He chaired the Board of Directors of Florida Public Broadcasting Service for two years.  He has a doctorate from North Carolina State University , a master’s from Appalachian State University, and BA from Florida State University.  [Associates List]

Anders Yocom began his broadcasting career at the four-station Connecticut Public Television Network, working his way from camera operator to Vice President of Programming. He spent four years at PBS in Washington, DC, where he was responsible for the national program schedule.
    
When he retired in 2001, Yocom was Senior Vice President, Cross Media Content for WTTW Channel 11 and 98.7 WFMT, Network Chicago.  His responsibilities included the selection and presentation of programming, the weekly publication City Talk, and networkchicago.com, and the production of local programs at WTTW and WFMT.
